I heard this lyric in a song recently: "to be great you have to be grateful.” It is around this time of year when I am at my busiest working with families all over the state of Arizona for family photos for the upcoming holiday season that I am left feeling forever humbled. Families find me and feel connection to my work so strongly that I am hired to travel to places like this in Sedona as well as Flagstaff and Greer.

I’ve realized that it wasn’t long ago that I wanted to be exactly where I am today, and I’m just going to take a moment and let that sink into my heart with absolute gratitude.
