Playhouse Makeover | Arizona Lifestyle Photographer
Move over Joanna Gaines….
My daughter’s birthday was fast approaching, and I was “pinspired” after we almost parted ways with this old playhouse linked here.
While I was cleaning it up, she decided she wanted to keep it. I showed her some of the inspiration photos to fix it up and she told me the colors she wanted. Within that week I was playing Joanna Gaines and I learned real quickly that I don’t ever want to work on my actual house!
If I could offer any hacks or recommendations it is to try a paint sprayer to save on the amount of time and hard physical labor!
Here is what I used:
Krylon Black Satin Spray Paint
Kilz Primer
White Storm Exterior Paint
Here are products I purchased to decorate:
Welcome Mat from Target linked here
Buffalo Plaid Print Mat from Target linked here
Mini Lanterns from Big Lots
Wreath from Target
Wire Basket from Big Lots
Artificial Succulents from Big Lots
Plastic Kids Lounge Chairs from ACE Hardware linked here
The door was broken years ago from a beloved pet, and therefore I found this sign at Big Lots that was close enough dimensions to not have to make our own!
I hope this blog post was informative and inspirational.
